It has now been just over a year since we started Good Email Design and are happy to announce we will be rebranding to Notification Design.
This not only better describes what we want to work towards but feel that email is now just part of one of the ways a business can notify a customer. It is important to have consistent design across the use of notifications.
Good Email Design will always be a part of notifications and the hope is to branch out into further design choices and systems that can help. With the launch of new tools to handle SMS messaging and client management keeping your messages on point and having a design language that represents your brand has never been more imporant.
We welcome you to join us on this journey of discovery into notification design and hope 2020 improves for all us small business owners.
Lets be smart about contacting our customer bases.

In the example above you can see a typical Gmail inbox, the user clicks an email from a hotel booking platform and can navigate available rooms on a slider, pick one to view more details and even navigate into the reviews all within the context of an email.
This gives you an advantage of grabbing the readers attention and presenting valuable information without them navigating away.

Coding regular emails is hard enough by itself. Making them responsive shouldn’t add to the headache. A few simple, but solid patterns are all that’s needed to optimize emails for small screens.
That’s what Cerberus is.
It’s just a few responsive email patterns that go a long way. The code blocks are compartmentalized so they may be used, removed, combined, and nested to build an email.
