An Intro to Dynamic Emails
On July 2, 2019, Google announced Dynamic Emails will have general availability and launch on by default for all domains.
So what is Dynamic Emails and why is it important to my business?
With dynamic email, you can easily take action directly from within an email message. Actions like confirming an RSVP to an event, or filling out a simple questionnaire, browsing a catalogue or simply responding to a comment.
In the example above you can see a typical Gmail inbox, the user clicks an email from a hotel booking platform and can navigate available rooms on a slider, pick one to view more details and even navigate into the reviews all within the context of an email.
This gives you an advantage of grabbing the readers attention and presenting valuable information without them navigating away.
This is all part of Google’s rollout of AMP for Gmail. It certainly is interesting times for email marketing. Interested in finding out how?
